Karen Spires, LISW – S, Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Spires graduated from Capital University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the Ohio State University. Ms. Spires hold the credential of LISW-S. Ms. Spires has more than 24 years of experience working in the mental health and substance abuse field including settings that include inpatient care, community mental health services, employee assistance programs, residential and managed care settings. Ms. Spires also has 14 years of management experience and is EMDR 1 trained, trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.

 

Linda Kleiber, Clinical Director

Ms. Kleiber has been employed with Foundations For Living since 2015. She is a licensed professional with 9 years as a clinical counselor supervisor with mental health counseling and alcohol/drug counseling experience. In the past, Ms. Kleiber has had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical and corrections settings. These experiences include working at Indian River Juvenile Correction Facility, Stark County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, Domestic Violence Project, Trillium Family Solutions, and The Counseling Center. She has a strong passion to provide quality clinical care to youth and their families, and will work hard to meet the needs of the residents here at Foundations for Living.

John G. Galbraith, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Galbraith is our Medical Director and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He is a family practitioner with 10 years of experience caring for young people at Foundations For Living.

Josh Anderson, Residential Director

Mr. Anderson has worked at Foundations For Living for more than 8 years and has held a variety of positions to include: Milieu Coordinator, Team Lead, Activities Director and Unit Manager. Mr. Anderson has been a Handle With Care Instructor for the past six years and a Verbal De-escalation Trainer for the past four years. Mr. Anderson is a licensed Passport to Fishing Instructor.

Jill Steele, CNP

Ms. Steele is our Certified Nurse Practitioner. She has been employed by Foundations For Living for the past 14 years.

Candice Himes, Director of Human Resources

Ms. Himes has more than five years of experience in Human Resources and more than 10 years of experience in health care. She graduated from Ashford University with her master’s degree in Business Administration. She also has a Professional in Human Resources Certificate.

Dr. Angela Gregory, Psy.D., Director of Operations

Dr. Gregory graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology. Soon after her bachelor’s degree she earned her master’s then doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She is also currently licensed as an Ohio Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Gregory has more than 15 years of experience working in the mental health and substance abuse field that includes residential care settings for both adults and adolescents and has been with Foundations For Living since 2016.

Lana Adams, Business Office Manager

Mrs. Adams is a graduate of Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University. She has worked in the Foundations For Living finance department since November 2000.

Matthew Mott, Director of Business Development

Mr. Mott started with Foundations For Living as a Community Liaison in 2009. He was promoted to Director of Business Development in 2014. Mr. Mott graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and comes with 14 years experience in law enforcement and social work. Before coming to Foundations For Living Mr. Mott was a supervisor at our local Children Service agency in the Court Liaison Department and supervisor for the Ashland County Department of Job and Family Services Agency in the Adult Protective and Children Services Department. With Mr. Mott’s experience and knowledge it allows him to have a better understanding of the services communities are in need of for residential services.

Brandon Reasor, Dietary Manager

Mr. Reasor has 15 years of kitchen/food service experience along with 5 years of management experience, and has been employed with Foundations For Living since November, 2015. He supervises staff who provides meals year round to our residents. Our Dietary Department also caters a luncheon for each grading period for students as well as a positive behavior banquet which is held monthly. Mr. Reasor has his ServSafe certification.

Eddie Yarborough, Plant Director/Housekeeping Supervisor and Safety Officer

Mr. Yarborough started with Foundations For Living as the Plant Director/ Housekeeping Supervisor and Safety Officer in 2016. He retired from the Marine Corps after 22 years of service where he was a H.E. Mechanic, H.E. Maintenance/Operations Chief and a recruiter.

Cindy Butterman RN MSN Ed., Director of Nursing

Ms. Butterman graduated from University of Phoenix with a Master’s in Nursing Education in 2010; MedCentral College of Nursing in 2007 with a RN BSN degree; 2000 Tri-Rivers Adult Education as Licensed Practical Nurse. Most of Ms. Butterman’s nursing career has been focused on critical care nursing and nursing education. She have worked in risk management, and long term rehab centers.
