Types of
Treatment
The many integrated treatment,
rehabilitation and case management services offered by Foundations
for Living fall into three programs:
The Girls Visions Program—a dual
(substance abuse/dependency and/or mental health) diagnosis and
treatment program for females.
The Boys Visions Program
- serves dual-diagnosis males from 12 – 21 years of age struggling
with mental health issues, as well as chemical dependency and
substance abuse issues. Credentialed substance abuse counselors
offer intensive treatment provided through both individual and group
therapy sessions that focus on the process of recovery. The
gender-specific treatment approach includes a 12-step philosophy for
recovery, relapse prevention, and family counseling. The Visions
Program follows ODADAS guidelines and offers intensive treatment for
both the above listed topics as well as: sober living, chemical
dependency dynamics and COA issues.
The Expedition Program—a
male-intensive program for multi-problem youth with severe emotional
and behavioral disturbances, especially those who have been
unsuccessful in previous outpatient programs.
The Passages Program—a concentrated
mental health program for females with a strong emphasis on behavior
modification.
